Go IFA Ltd

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) declared Go IFA Ltd in default in April 2024.

The firm, which was formerly known as Stevton Ltd, also traded as Go IFAs.

According to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register, Go IFA Ltd hasn’t been authorised by the FCA since February 2020.

The firm is currently in liquidation after a voluntary liquidator was appointed in May 2023.

According to recent reports the FSCS has received three claims against Go IFA Ltd, one of which was upheld. The other two are in progress and relate to pension transfer and Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) advice.

Eligible claims against Go IFA Ltd will now be assessed and processed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The FSCS has a limit to the amount of compensation it can award, which will depend on when and how you were mis-sold. Its current maximum is £85k per eligible person per firm.
