TenetConnect Ltd

Under Investigation 05/06/2024

FRN: 149826

The FSCS placed TenetConnect Ltd under investigation on June 5 2024, after it entered administration.

Its parent company Tenet Group and two other subsidiaries were also placed in administration and Joint Administrators from Interpath Ltd were appointed.

TenetConnect Ltd is an FCA authorised firm and was also principal firm to a number of Appointed Representatives (AR’s).

Appointed Representatives are able to carry out regulated activity (such as advising on investments) without being authorised by the FCA.

This is because the principal firm is responsible for the conduct and regulated activities carried out by its Appointed Representatives.

The FCA thinks many customers may not be familiar with the name TenetConnect Ltd and may be likely just to know their adviser who was acting as an AR.

You can find details of all the companies who were Appointed Representatives of TenetConnect Ltd on the FCA register.

According to the FCA the firm used Tenet Network Services and TenetConnect as trading names.

It is currently working closely with the Joint Administrators to secure data to address these potential claims.

The FSCS is not yet open to claims against TenetConnect Ltd as it is working to obtain, secure and organise data provided about past business reviews.

It added that this is likely to take several months.

The next update will be provided by FSCS by the end of August 2024.
