Capital Asset Management Ltd were a financial advice firm established in 2009 and based in South Wales.
They were formerly known as HSJ Asset Management Ltd.
They are currently in liquidation and were declared in default by the FSCS on the 28th of July 2021.
When a regulated company or individual is declared in default, it usually means they have failed and are unable to pay any claims made against it.
You may still be able to claim compensation from the FSCS if a regulated firm or individual has failed. This depends on the firm involved and the type of activity they do.
The FSCS has already accepted claims for the unsuitable and negligent pension transfer advice.
Unsuitable pension advice is a major factor in pension mis-selling.
Advice can be deemed unsuitable if the adviser hasn’t made you aware of the risks involved or adequately checked any investments are right for you.
High risk investments, in particular, are only suitable for clients with the investment experience needed to manage their SIPP account and who are comfortable with that level of risk.
If you are worried that the advice you received – we may be able to help with our free, no obligation consultation.
While each case is individual, as mis-selling specialists, we know to look for certain signs that in our experience indicate that mis-selling may have happened.
Our assessment is free and there’s absolutely no obligation to use our service if you have a case.
