Consumer Money Matters Limited were an Introducer company based in Leicester.
They began trading in 2009 as Carrington Carr Marketing Services.
They have been linked to mis-selling cases involving The Resort Group and are believed to have cold-called people to promote this investment.
In fact, their cold calling was so prevalent that they made the Which? cold calling offender list in 2012.
After the cold call “pension review” many people were then passed on to regulated financial advisers.
One adviser connected to claims involving The Resort Group is CIB Life and Pensions who also facilitated investments in Harlequin property.
